Fashionable Takes Home Silver Remi Award Down In Houston

Houston, TX (04.20.08) - New Valiant Productions is proud to announce that "Fashionable - A Music Video For Quiet Company" has been awarded The "Silver Remi Award" for Rock & R&R Music Video at the 41st Annual Worldfest International Film Festival in Houston, TX

This marks the second win down in Texas over the weekend for Quiet Company’s debut video for director Cameron McCasland and producer Michael Creason, as it also received “Best Music Video” honors from the Lone Star Film Society at the Fearless Film Festival in Fort Worth.

McCasland stated, “I am so happy to receive honors from Worldfest and Fearless this weekend. I am proud to be a Texan, and to work with a great Texas band like Quiet Company. It’s nice to be honored back home in the Lone Star State.”

WorldFest, founded in 1961, is the oldest Independent film festival in the world catering to truly independent film makers. Festival screenings were conducted April 11-20 2008 at the AMC Studio 30 - Dunvale Theater in Houston, TX, for the International Jury and the Houston Film Society.

Fashionable continues it festival run playing at the Appalachia Film Festival in Huntington, WV over the weekend with more screening’s TBA.
