City Council Goes Green With Dr. Gangrene Nashville, TN (01.09.09) The Metro City Council Of Nashville and Davidson County passed Resolution NO. RS2009-600 on Tuesday January 6th recognizing the contributions of The Go Green With Dr. Gangrene campaign, New Valiant Productions, and WNAB CW 58 Creature Feature for their faithful service in the best interest of the City of Nashville Tennessee and Davidson County. The Resolution was approved by Nashville Mayor Karl Dean and signed under law on the following day. The Resolution was sponsored by District 28 Councilman Duane Dominy, who had screened the short "Trash Day Of The Dead" at December Town Hall Meeting in Nashville. Director Cameron McCasland said of the Resolution, "Everyone who worked on this project is excited to have the city get behind the idea of Going Green With Dr. Gangrene. Councilman Dominy shares our concerns on keeping the city clean, and we thank him as well as the entire Metro Council and Mayor Dean for recognizing our efforts." A formal presentation of the Resolution will be made to Cameron McCasland, Michael Creason, Larry Underwood & Linda Wylie at a February City Council meeting.
