New Valiant Joins the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences For immediate release: Creason & McCasland are the newest members of NATAS Nashville, TN (07.20.08) New Valiant Productions film makers Michael Creason and Cameron McCasland were accepted into the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences earlier this month in Nashville. Founded in 1957, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), best known for the internationally recognized Emmy Award, is a non-profit, professional organization dedicated to improving the quality of television at all levels. NATAS strives to raise industry standards, encourages those new to the profession, and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas on industry problems and concerns. McCasland said “Michael and I look forward to working with the NATAS locally to provide better television programming for everyone, and to rely on their vast resources to help entertain viewers around the world.” The announcement came on the heels of New Valiant’s latest project. The “Go Green With Dr. Gangrene” campaign. The June launch of the series created quiet a buzz with over 80,000 hits online in the first few days. New Valiant was also congratulated in letters from Nashville Mayor Karl Dean, and Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander.
