New Valiant Takes DV's Highest Honor

Nashville, TN (12.27.08) The DV Awards for outstanding achievement in Digital Video has been presented to New Valiant Productions for "Trash Day Of The Dead" from the "Go Green With Dr. Gangrene" campaign.

"Trash Day Of The Dead" was honored with the DV Awards top prize in the Public Service Announcement Commercial Category this week. The environmentally minded short, written & directed by Cameron McCasland and Produced by Michael Creason of New Valiant Productions continues to be honored across the globe with wins at the Accolade, AEGIS, Ava, Blingy, and Marcom awards this year, as well as receiving an Emmy nomination in writing for McCasland.

"Trash Day Of The Dead" stars Dr. Gangrene (Larry Underwood) and his assistant Nurse Moan-Eek (Linda Wylie) of WNAB's long running program "Creature Feature" as they challenge viewers to clean up the city by "Going Green With Dr. Gangrene".
