Environmental Short Selected As Finalist In National AEGIS Awards

Nashville, TN (10.11.08) - New Valiant Productions is proud to announce that the Go Green With Dr. Gangrene campaigns “Trash Day Of The Dead” has been selected as a 2008 finalist in the 19th annual AEGIS video & film production awards.

“Trash Day Of The Dead”was recognized for its outstanding production quality in the category of “Television Commercial" videos by a distinguished panel of judges representing industry professionals from around the country.

The thirty second Go Green With Dr. Gangrene short was written & directed by Cameron McCasland, and produced, shot, & edited by Michael Creason. It follows Nashville Horror Host Dr. Gangrene (Larry Underwood) and his assistant Nurse Moan-Eek (Linda Wylie) as the city is attacked by littering zombies.

“Trash Day Of The Dead” premiered earlier this year for the website www.gogreencrusade.com as well as on WNAB CW 58 in Nashville, which is the home of the long running Dr. Gangrenes Creature Feature. It became an immediate viral sensation garnering tens of thousands of hits in following days on New Valiant Productions Myspace page, myspace.com/newvaliant.
