Go Green Crusade Honored At City Council Meeting In Nashville

New Valiant Goes Green at State Capitol

Nashville, TN (02.05.09) The Go Green With Dr. Gangrene campaign, was formally recognized earlier this week by the City Council of Nashville & Davidson County. Councilman Duane Dominy sponsored Resolution NO. RS2009-600, and presented Larry Underwood, Linda Wylie, Cameron McCasland, and Michael Creason with copies of the Resolution.

New Valiant Productions Cameron McCasland was on hand with Larry Underwood and Linda Wylie for the honors. Larry Underwood addressed the City Council, and thanked them for giving attention to the "Go Green With Dr. Gangrene" campaign. Underwood stated, "I grew up a Nashvillian, I was born and raised here. I grew up watching Sir Cecil Creape, and Creature Feature, and Its just been a huge honor to follow in his footsteps to provide entertainment for Nashville, and then to take that entertainment and use it in an environmentally conscience way for littering and our Go Green campaign."

Members of the City Council, and the chamber gave a standing ovation followed by a round of hearty handshakes for the film makers. After the meeting Cameron McCasland stated. "Again we are so thankful to the City Council and Duane Dominy for helping bring awareness to the Go Green campaign. We are glad to see that this message has hit home with the citizens of Nashville."
